We're driving innovation in financial technology at Nord Group, where collaboration and creativity thrive. As a key player in our Investment Banking Technology division, you'll have the opportunity to shape our monitoring capabilities and ensure the robustness of our financial systems and data.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the integrity of our Splunk platform, ensuring seamless performance, stability, and scalability. This involves implementing efficient patching strategies, upgrading versions, and optimizing performance. Additionally, you'll oversee the onboarding process for diverse data sources from various financial applications, security devices, network appliances, and cloud environments.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be proficient in leveraging modern observability tools to enhance and expand monitoring capabilities. Your ability to collaborate with incident response teams and provide actionable insights during security incidents will be invaluable.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Splunk Engineer, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of SPL/SPL2 (Splunk Query Language), Linux, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Solarwinds, and Cribl.
  • A strong DevOps mindset, including experience with code reviews, automated pipelines, and iterative feature releases.

Estimated Salary: $135,000 - $170,000 per year
