Apprenticeship Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader/Supervisor Childcare Apprenticeship at Little Elves and Fairies Nursery, West Moors. This role will involve overseeing daily operations, providing support to staff and coordinating activities, and engaging with parents and communicating effectively about their child's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursery
  • Provide support in managing staff and coordinating activities
  • Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Engage with parents and communicate effectively about their child's progress
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programmes
  • Drive continuous improvement in nursery standards

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • Forest School Qualification highly desirable
  • Ability to gain a clear DBS
  • GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

About the Nursery:

Little Elves and Fairies Nursery is an Outdoor Nursery and Forest School, with a cosy indoor space that we use in extreme weather. We believe that the closer to nature the children are, the happier they will be and the more they will learn. We are committed to helping children achieve their maximum potential through outdoor play and learning.

We Are Looking For:

A full or part-time Manager to work year-round in our Forest School, for children from 2 to 6, starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and be enthusiastic about the outdoors.
