About Us

Via is a leading provider of drug and alcohol services across Gloucestershire, committed to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals and their families.

We are currently expanding our clinical team and seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Misuse Support Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of substance misuse services and a proven ability to work effectively with complex cases. You will be responsible for providing specialist support and guidance to individuals and their families, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and improve their quality of life.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide education and guidance on harm reduction strategies, including blood-borne virus interventions and overdose prevention.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse (RMN, RGN or Learning Disabilities Nurse) with a current active PIN number.
  • Strong knowledge of substance misuse services and community healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
