Recovery Practitioner

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving service, making positive changes in people's lives, through a non-judgmental, recovery-based approach that values the strengths and choices of those individuals.
As a Recovery Practitioner, you will provide excellent quality of care to people who use our service accessing treatment for substance use and their complex needs, in partnership with our clinical team, counsellors and other professionals involved in client's care.
You will have an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance use and related health and wellbeing issues.
Working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, to include prescribing, providing a good quality of interventions at varying stages of their recovery as well as developing and delivering a wide range of groups.
Via's Adult Drug and Alcohol Services across Gloucestershire provide a great opportunity to build on existing service strengths, drive new developments and make a positive impact as part of this new contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of clients with substance use and related health and wellbeing issues
- Providing excellent quality of care, including prescribing and interventions
- Developing and delivering a wide range of groups
- Working in partnership with our clinical team, counsellors and other professionals
