BI Developer Job Description

Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled BI Developer to work with a furniture manufacturing business based in the Leeds area. The successful candidate will report to the BI + Apps Manager and focus on developing and maintaining reporting solutions to strengthen the quality of information delivered across the company.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new and existing reporting solutions, working closely with a team of IT specialists.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users to understand their requirements and provide solutions that align with the BI strategy.
  • Support the maintenance of the hybrid on-prem and cloud-based data warehouse.
  • Assess user requests and provide company-aligned solutions for BI and Applications.
  • Contribute to company process improvements to enhance data quality.
  • Design dashboards and visualizations using SQL, DAX, and Power BI.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level (preferably in a technical field) or equivalent qualifications and Data Analytics/Development experience.
  • Experience with digital design or dashboard design, knowledge of Power BI.
  • Data warehousing experience with knowledge of ETL processes, ideally with an understanding of Azure/Data Lakes or Blobs.
  • Experience with the Power platforms/Power Apps/Power Automate.
