Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with land agents, landowners, and other stakeholders to identify potential land opportunities.
  • Conduct initial assessments of land opportunities to determine their viability and potential for development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and sales teams to appraise land against criteria and identify the best options for pursuit.
  • Obtain and review existing site records, including services, adoptable highways, drainage, and land registry/ownership information.
  • Prepare and present appraisals for sites using software tools.
  • Manage external consultants and coordinate the flow of information to agreed timescales.
  • Attend design team meetings and collaborate with colleagues and external consultants.
  • Prepare planning documentation for sites progressing through the pre-application enquiry and full planning application process.
  • Liaise with planning department representatives and manage the discharge of pre-commencement planning conditions.
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in the industry, with a strong understanding of land acquisition and development.
  • Proven experience working with construction companies and a strong network of contacts in the industry.
  • A Planning or Surveyor qualification is highly desirable.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

  • 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and the Christmas period.

  • Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
