Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alfanar Projects. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our power plant and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a power plant or industrial setting.
  • Formal mechanical maintenance background, including training in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with steam and gas turbines, as well as other heavy engineering equipment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
