Job Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Rotating shifts: Yes

Our client is a renowned manufacturing giant with a strong presence in the UK market. We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform a combination of planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum line efficiency.
  2. Conduct fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment.
  3. Respond quickly to breakdowns onsite to minimize downtime.
  4. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on automation machinery, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
  5. Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
  6. Ensure the efficient running of a continuous process, producing high-quality products for delivery.
  7. Continuously improve equipment and system performance to support site development.
  8. Agree preventative electrical maintenance plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. Apprentice-trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline, with a focus on electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  2. Ideal experience with automated materials handling and packaging machines.
  3. Production line experience, with qualified engineers offered training and development opportunities.
  4. A proactive approach to fault-finding, a commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
  5. Computer literacy.
