Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd in Bridgwater. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for undertaking pre-planned and reactive maintenance on our state-of-the-art production machinery.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience working on a range of machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, as well as responding to breakdowns and performing repairs. You will also be involved in the setup of planned maintenance schedules and the installation of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks on production machinery and equipment
  2. Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs as required
  3. Set up and implement planned maintenance schedules
  4. Install new equipment and machinery
  5. Work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team to ensure smooth operation of the facility
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  2. Experience working on a range of machinery and equipment
  3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  4. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills
