Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd in Bridgwater. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Carrying out repairs and troubleshooting on a range of machinery and systems
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience, with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical disciplines
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
  • PLC experience and knowledge of wiring schematics and diagrams
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG sector
  • Ability to work a shift pattern and be flexible in your approach
