Internal Business Development Manager - Fixing Systems
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Internal Business Development Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships with M&E contractors, main and sub-contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
- Nurture existing relationships with clients and distributors
- Provide technical support to clients, distributors, and sales team
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure no sales opportunities are missed
- Deal with customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Deal with customers spending a minimum of £1,000 per month
Requirements:
- 3+ years sales experience within the construction industry
- Experience selling fixings, fastenings, support systems, tools, or plastic ducting systems
- Proactive and initiative-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner
- Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Highly organized with good time management and administrative skills
- Computer and Microsoft Office literacy
