Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide high-quality repair and maintenance services to our customers in the West Sussex/Worthing area. As a Field Service Engineer at Tunstall, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of our services, working with a variety of customers and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of products, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Environmental Monitoring/Control, Fire Detection, and Nurse Call systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, working with customers to resolve issues and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Work independently, using your electrical and electronic experience to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and best practices, and to support the development of others.
  • Manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure the smooth delivery of our services.

Requirements:

  • An Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • A pass at ONC level, equivalent NVQ Level 3 or demonstrable alternative in a technical discipline (specifically Electronic Engineering) is desirable.
  • A good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronic systems/principles.
  • Able to demonstrate effective team working, including mentoring/coaching and training others.
  • Effective time management & planning skills.
  • A flexible approach to work, including on-call/weekend working.
  • Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces.
  • Experience, Knowledge and understanding of networks and IP based systems is desirable.
