Job Title: Field Service Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Tunstall Healthcare Group. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to our customers in the West Sussex/Worthing area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical and electronic maintenance and repairs on a variety of products, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Environmental Monitoring/Control, Fire Detection, and Nurse Call systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, including vulnerable and elderly individuals.
  • Participate in on-call/weekend work on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 service coverage.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical developments to provide expert advice and support to customers.
Requirements:
  • Electronic qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Pass at ONC level, equivalent NVQ Level 3 or demonstrable alternative in a technical discipline (specifically Electronic Engineering) is desirable.
  • Good understanding of basic Electrical and Electronic systems/principles.
  • Able to demonstrate effective team working, including mentoring/coaching and training others.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • Flexible approach to work, including on-call/weekend working.
  • Comfortable working at heights and/or in confined dusty spaces.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of networks and IP-based systems is desirable.
