Learning and Development Assistant

The Learning and Development Assistant will provide vital support to our teaching staff and students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on young people's lives.
Key Tasks:- To assist in developing and using knowledge and skills to contribute to student learning.
- To discuss curriculum and classroom planning with the teacher and contribute informally and at meetings.
- To work as part of a team to ensure that students' wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development enhance their learning opportunities and life skills.
- Teaching Assistant Qualification NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
- Adult Literacy and Numeracy/Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English, minimum grade C.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and adults.
The salary for this position is approximately £11,436 - £11,802 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team.
