About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key responsibility in shaping the company's benefits strategy. As Benefits Manager, you will work closely with the HR and Finance teams to manage the compensation budget, ensure cost efficiency, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Oversee the company's benefits budget, working closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate forecasting and timely data submissions.
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations with providers and brokers to secure optimal cost efficiency and service quality for each benefit stream.
  • Wellbeing Strategy: Support the development of a comprehensive wellbeing strategy, collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote initiatives that drive employee engagement and integrate wellbeing with benefits seamlessly.
  • Benefits Platform: Own and maintain the company's benefits platform, ensuring smooth operation and a user-friendly employee experience.
  • Rewards Programmes: Lead the costing and financial modelling of reward programmes, utilising advanced Excel skills to assess financial impact, forecast costs, and guide decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies across all benefits offerings.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in employee benefits management within a large organisation, including cost analysis and financial impact assessment.
  • Regulations: Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, legislation, and risk benefits.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, with a strong ability to model costs, analyse financial data, and forecast budgetary requirements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to evaluate financial impact and present cost models to stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
