Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Advance TRS. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for sharing your expertise with our clients' design teams and providing ongoing project support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our team to deliver expert geotechnical knowledge to clients and support projects as needed.
  2. Utilize your technical skills to assist colleagues and clients.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and participate in hazard workshops to ensure project safety.
  4. Travel throughout the UK to visit sites and conduct surveys as required.
Requirements
  1. Hold a Civil Engineering degree and Chartered status.
  2. Prior experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail or power sectors.
  3. Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  4. At least 10 years of experience in civil structural projects with a strong understanding of geotechnical knowledge.
  5. Proven track record in securing projects, including risk assessment and management.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project requirements.
  7. Capacity to represent the company professionally during on-site inspections and surveys.
  8. Current clean driving license.
