Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Advance TRS. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert geotechnical knowledge and support to our clients' design teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality geotechnical services to clients, including project support and risk management.
  2. Utilize your technical expertise to assist colleagues and clients with geotechnical-related queries.
  3. Participate in hazard workshops and contribute to the identification and mitigation of project risks.
  4. Travel throughout the UK to visit sites and conduct surveys as required.
Requirements
  1. Hold a Civil Engineering degree and Chartered status.
  2. Prior experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail or power sectors.
  3. Proficiency in relevant software applications.
  4. At least 10 years of experience in civil structural projects with a strong understanding of geotechnical principles.
  5. Proven track record in securing projects, including risk assessment and management.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing project requirements.
  7. Capacity to represent the company professionally during on-site inspections and surveys.
  8. A current clean driving license is required.
