Care Assistant Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Care Assistants at Grand Care Centre. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents, supporting them in maintaining a good quality of life and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver personalized care to residents, meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  2. Support residents in maintaining a good quality of life, promoting independence, and achieving their potential.
  3. Model best practice when delivering care, adhering to agreed care plans.
  4. Contribute to daily records of residents, ensuring accurate documentation.
  5. Collaborate effectively with the team, undertaking tasks delegated efficiently and effectively.
  6. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults under your care or supervision.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment.
  • Care certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of good care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
  • Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential and nursing settings.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated and confident individual.
