About the Role

As a Senior Business Development Strategist, you will play a critical role in driving growth and expansion of Guardant Health's Biopharma business. Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new opportunities for partnership and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with the BioPharma Business Development team to identify and pursue strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, leveraging Guardant Health's proprietary ctDNA-based clinical trial services for biomarker discovery and development.
  • You will be responsible for managing new account onboarding activities, including lead generation, CRM data entry, due diligence, and contract negotiation, as well as supporting strategic account initiatives and identifying new connections.
  • You will provide guidance and education to potential partners, including biomarker researchers, translational medicine scientists, clinical development teams, and global commercial teams.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, and/or consulting is essential.
  • A strong desire to communicate complex business justifications, develop and close successful cross-functional collaborations, and bring in repeat business from multiple customers is required.
  • Knowledge of the European clinical diagnostics market, including regulatory and reimbursement landscape, is highly valued.
  • You are motivated to grow the business, not just your patch, and see the broader team succeed.
