About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hydrology Consultant to join our team at RPS Group in London. As a key member of our Hydrology Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects that create shared value to a complex, urbanising and resource-scarce world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research water issues such as flooding, water quality, droughts, and drainage using publicly available and bespoke data sets.
  • Undertake site walkovers and other technical and departmental duties associated with the role.
  • Provide support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ES Chapters.
  • Undertake consultations with Local Planning Authorities (LPA), Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFA), and other stakeholders, including the Environment Agency.
  • Support in bid preparation and fee proposals.

Requirements

  • A qualified engineer or scientist with a relevant degree, such as Civil Engineering or Physical Geography.
  • Relevant expertise and a self-starting team player.
