We are seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join our team at Soho Farmhouse. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food to our members. Your main responsibilities will include preparing food before service, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, and plating to company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food before service to ensure high-quality dishes are delivered to our members.
  • Set up and stock kitchen stations to ensure efficient service.
  • Plate dishes to company standards, ensuring presentation is of the highest quality.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with menu planning and preparation, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the culinary team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shift times, including evenings, weekends, and opens and closes.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods, with occasional kneeling, bending, and climbing.

Working Hours
  • Varying shift times, including evenings, weekends, and opens and closes.
  • Average hours 32-45 per week.
Subsidised Transport

We offer a subsidised transport rate from Chipping Norton (OX7) and Banbury (OX15 & OX16).
