Main Responsibilities

The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, answering phone calls, and directing them to the appropriate healthcare professional. They will also process in-person and telephone requests for appointments, register new patients, and take messages. Additionally, they will initiate contact with and respond to requests from patients, other team members, and associated healthcare agencies and providers.

Key requirements include GCSEs at grade C (or 4-9) or equivalent, training in administration/clerical duties at NVQ level or above, and NVQ Level 2/3 in Customer Services or Health Care or related discipline. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
