We are seeking a skilled and dedicated SEND Educator for Primary School to join our team at Kaden Education Recruitment Limited. As a SEND Educator, you will be responsible for teaching children with special educational needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Our Approach:

We aim to foster each child's academic, social, and emotional development in a supportive and enriching environment. Our school provides a broad and balanced educational experience, including adapted National Curriculum subjects such as PE, Art, Music, and Life Skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and deliver tailored lessons for small classes of 7 to 10 pupils in Year 2/3, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs and learning styles of each child.
  • To collaborate with support staff and other teachers to ensure each pupil receives consistent, individualised attention.

  • To create a supportive, engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate.

Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in primary or SEND education. Previous experience teaching children with special educational needs, ideally with knowledge of autism support strategies, is essential. Strong understanding of SEND teaching approaches, including behaviour management and communication support, is also required. Patience, empathy, and creativity to engage pupils and make learning accessible and enjoyable are necessary skills for this role.

Why Join Us:

We offer a competitive salary, professional development opportunities tailored to SEND education, and a supportive, collaborative team environment. The chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, is a key benefit of this role.
