Chemical Process Improvement Role

We are seeking an experienced Paint Chemist to join our client's research and development team in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for improving product quality and reducing costs through the development and implementation of new chemical processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute pilot plant projects to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Assist in the routine operation of the R&D Laboratory, ensuring that all work is conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Investigate and formulate improvement proposals for products and manufacturing processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of research methods, producing comprehensive reports to communicate findings to technical directors and other stakeholders.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
