Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Leeds, Otley, Guiseley, Bramley, Pudsey, or Roundhay. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our clients with diverse needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour, plus paid travel time and mileage. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including up to 28 days paid annual leave, annual service awards, and a workplace pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, such as washing, bathing, and toileting, tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
  • Administering medication safely and effectively, following established protocols.
  • Preparing meals for clients who require assistance with feeding.
  • Supporting clients with shopping and light domestic tasks, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to all clients, enhancing their overall quality of life.
  • Assisting with more complex care needs, such as cough assistance and peg feeding, after receiving thorough training.
