Job Title: Lead Planner

We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join our UK Build Division in the South. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the management team with the planning and programming of design, procurement, and construction activities associated with our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date construction programmes, incorporating design release and lead-in activities.
  • Prepare and manage project prelim books, including staff resource, logistics, and temporary works requirements.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to develop project programmes, considering design, lead-in's, construction periods, plant, and labour requirements.
  • Review and highlight potential mitigation measures in programmes, including float and time risk allowances.
  • Develop tracking schedules to maintain information and control the production of programmes by subcontractors.
  • Produce validated output rates with clarifications to track live progress on projects.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or diploma in a construction-related field.
  • Qualifications in construction management, such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies, such as the Association for Project Management (APM).
  • Advanced contract awareness, including understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract.
