Job Title: Lead Planner

We are seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join our UK Build Division in the South. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team with the planning and programming of design, procurement, and construction activities associated with our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date project programmes, ensuring all aspects of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover are fully logic-linked and have a critical path.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the management team on project progress and performance, highlighting areas of improvement and providing recommendations for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to develop project programmes, incorporating design release, lead-in activities, and plant and labour requirements.
  • Utilize 4D graphical models and 2D phasing plans to represent the sequence of build, phasing, and logistics, and engage with stakeholders to ensure programme accuracy and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain tracking schedules to monitor subcontractor programme production, as-built programme updates, and change request impacts.
  • Provide programme information and support to the management team, including validated output rates, progress tracking, and feedback into the pre-construction department.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of working with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on live construction projects.
  • Experience managing planning teams and developing project programmes.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal frameworks, particularly contract management.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in a construction-related field, and certification in planning and programme software.
