About the Role
Silver Stone Search & Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Apprentice General Engineer to join our team in a critical role focusing on managing reliability and overall site engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the site engineering function, covering both the management of the day-to-day reactive maintenance as well as planned maintenance activity.
- You will deliver against operational needs and provide a first-class service to internal customers.
- You will promote best practice with an emphasis on delivering results through the effective management of your team.
- You will facilitate and coordinate all of your team's activities and offer support for their own development.
Your Experience
- An apprentice-trained or qualified engineer with experience managing an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
- A flexible and hands-on approach to people management is essential.
- You should be happy to step in and support your team as needed.
- You will be able to demonstrate accountability and effective delivery of goals and have broad engineering skills and a passionate approach that will inspire your team.
- A self-motivated individual with high energy levels, you can calmly react to unexpected business demands to achieve the desired results.
