We are seeking a skilled Care Centre Wellbeing Facilitator to join our team at Grand Care Centre. As a key member of our wellbeing department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering activities that promote the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Design and deliver engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, promoting social interaction, cognitive function, and a sense of belonging.">
  3. Work closely with our Wellbeing Coordinator to ensure a seamless delivery of activities and events, adapting programmes to meet the evolving needs of our residents.">
  4. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop plans to mitigate any potential hazards, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.">
  5. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.">
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research findings to inform your approach and contribute to the evolution of our wellbeing strategy.">
  7. Develop and maintain accurate records of activity attendance, participant feedback, and outcome evaluation, using these insights to inform future programme development.">
  8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our wellbeing services, identifying areas for growth and implementing recommendations to enhance resident satisfaction and quality of life.">

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a care or related setting, preferably with a focus on wellbeing and activities.">
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering engaging activities that meet the diverse needs of older adults.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.">
  • The capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.">
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.">
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.">
