Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver optimal operational performance and provide decision support to key stakeholders. You will ensure the internal control environment is implemented in line with group policy and lead on finance processes, governance, and standardisation for all operations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the local finance team, ensuring they are engaged, focused, developed, and delivering to their full potential.
  • Take ownership of the internal control environment, addressing identified risks and ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet through monthly detailed reviews.
  • Support key stakeholders by providing factual information, leading the preparation of financials for business cases, capital investment proposals, and other activities.
  • Oversight of budget process and conversion reconciliation, providing support and challenge to stakeholders and budget holders.
  • Ownership and management of site capital process, including planning, prioritising future spend, monitoring risk, and quality control for capital proposals.
  • Contribute to the wider finance team to ensure continuous improvement in controls, efficiency, and ways of working.
  • Lead key projects to enable data-driven insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • In conjunction with the data and analytics team, develop and implement advanced analytics to drive improved business performance.

Estimated salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum. This figure is based on industry standards and locations within the UK.
