Operational Equipment Specialist

Job Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our operations maintenance team as an Operations Maintenance Technician. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all plant and equipment on site is repaired and serviced to recognised standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise team maintenance and required equipment to ensure the operation and maintenance of machinery is completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor workflow, identify potential problems, and take corrective action through delegation or referral upwards.
- Effective liaison with Depot and Operations Managers, Section Leaders, and Control Room to resolve difficulties and enquiries.
- Ensure smooth transition of traffic across the machine while prioritising Health and Safety.
- Timely and accurate completion of all required information recording sheets.
- Maintain operational and maintenance procedures in accordance with the Group Operations Manual.
- Ensure equipment is returned to its designated area after use and maintained in a safe and efficient working order.
Requirements:
- A City and Guilds Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition electrical regulations.
- Proven electrical/mechanical maintenance background.
- Ability to read electrical schematic drawings.
- Understanding of PLC controlled equipment.
- Flexible approach to shift patterns.
- Understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Full driving licence.
