Desktop Support Engineer

KnoWho is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients, resolving desktop and network-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support via phone and on-site for desktop-related issues
  • Deal with customer support requests and system alarms/alerts according to priority
  • Hardware and software experience, including fault diagnosis, cloning drives, and data backup
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • LAN/WAN/Wifi/Internet networking maintenance and fault analysis/resolution
  • ADSL/Cable/PSTN/ISDN
  • Office 365 (User Admin, Exchange, Sharepoint)
Requirements:
  • A confident communicator with good listening skills and telephone manner
  • A full, clean driving license
