Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary

KnoWho is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, resolving desktop and network-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Perform hardware and software upgrades, cloning drives, and data backup and recovery
  • Configure and maintain LAN/WAN/Wifi/Internet networking equipment
  • Provide support for Active Directory, Office 365, and Apple Mac systems

Requirements

  • PC hardware faultfinding and repair experience
  • PC and laptop troubleshooting skills
  • Hardware and software experience, including fault diagnosis
  • Upgrading hardware and software
  • Cloning drives, copying, and backing up data
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • LAN/WAN/Wifi/Internet networking maintenance and fault analysis/resolution
  • ADSL/Cable/PSTN/ISDN experience
  • TCP/IP / DNS knowledge
  • Routers / VPN / Firewalls experience
  • Active Directory knowledge
  • Office 365 (User Admin, Exchange, Sharepoint) experience
  • Apple Mac experience
