Job Title: VP, Financial Consultant

Crédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly skilled VP, Financial Consultant to join our team in London. As a key member of our Corporate and Investment Banking arm, you will be responsible for originating, structuring, and managing fund financing transactions for private equity funds, infrastructure funds, real estate funds, and credit funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Originate and structure fund financing transactions, including capital call/subscription lines, and manage the credit process up to the final decision.
  2. Liaise with the coverage team to develop CLF business and client strategy.
  3. Manage the credit process, including writing credit requests and presenting transactions to business and credit committees.
  4. Execute transactions, including drafting and negotiating term sheets, facilities, and securities agreements.
  5. Participate in proposal creation and commercial origination for clients and prospects.
  6. Monitor portfolio facilities, issue guarantees, negotiate amendments and waivers, and manage the banking syndicate.
  7. Promote cross-selling within CACIB and maintain up-to-date knowledge of fund finance, private equity, infrastructure, and real estate industries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in corporate/structured finance, credit analysis, structuring, and legal documentation.
  • Strong interest in private equity and ability to negotiate with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and good understanding of risk management.
