Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team in the East area of BCUHB. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex medical and clinical needs.

The post will primarily be in wound care, but the successful candidate will also work independently in community and acute settings. We offer full support for post-graduate training and qualifications linked to the role.

The successful candidate will be fully supported by a team of highly skilled and experienced wound care podiatrists and will work within joint vascular team clinics and other MDT elements.

Main duties of the job:

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate podiatric care for patients with complex medical and clinical needs.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your own work.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in a range of primary and secondary care settings.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
