HR & Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Officer to join our team at BCM Fareva. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for payroll and HR-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Process and verify all HR/Payroll data on a monthly basis.
- Complete the reconciliation process on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and submit monthly and statutory reports.
- Act as a super user for our HRIS and T&A systems.
- HR Activities:
- Provide first-line support for all HR queries, including recruitment, disciplinary, absence management, and policy administration.
- Manage the HR inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update personnel records, including archiving leavers.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and support recruitment activity from initial vacancy to on-boarding.
- Ensure compliance with right to work checks and occupational health questionnaires.
- Deliver training programs on time and attendance systems, absence management, and other HR-related topics.
- Oversee key contracts onsite, including payroll, legal, occupational health, reward gateway, and Baxter Storey.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Essential:
- Payroll administration experience.
- Minimum 5 A-C GCSEs or equivalent.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to build cooperative working relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience of planning and organizing own workload.
- Able to use software to produce reports, data manipulation, graphs, and presentations.
- Desirable:
- HR administration experience.
- Demonstrable ability to build productive working relationships cross-functionally.
- Demonstrable experience of planning short to medium-term for HR projects.
