Behavioural Support Specialist

About the Role:
New Road Education is seeking a Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will work with children in a 7.5 hour school day, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children with challenging behaviour
- Work with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans
- Support children in developing resilience and coping strategies
- Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for children
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with challenging behaviour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability
