About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Mental Health Social Worker Lead to join our team in Hull. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and developing staff, engaging in complex cases, and contributing to team planning and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and develop staff through various forums, including 1-1 practice development, reflected practice, mentorship, coaching, and providing honest and constructive feedback.
  2. Engage in complex cases requiring autonomous decision-making, multi-agency coordination, and legal preparation and planning.
  3. Coordinate services and people for young people transitioning into adult services.
  4. Contribute to team planning, effectiveness, and responsiveness, supporting the team manager in improving practice and performance.
  5. Actively engage in practice development forums, ensuring focused discussions lead to improved social work practice.
  6. Oversee the induction and completion of ASYE for newly qualified/newly appointed social workers.
  7. Prepare and attend decision-making forums, supporting co-workers with complex/high-risk cases.
  8. Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recording in line with legislation, available for various purposes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
Benefits and Salary
