Support Worker for Adult Mental Health

Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Salary: £11.60 per hour (estimated annual salary: £24,350 - £28,400)
Key Responsibilities- Support residents with daily living tasks, such as budgeting, domestic duties, and meal preparation.
- Assist residents with grocery shopping, attending appointments, and administering medication as required.
- Encourage residents to engage in activities that promote social interaction and community involvement.
- Regularly review and update support plans to ensure they align with individual needs and aspirations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and respectful team culture.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar support worker position or relevant education (Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- A commitment to providing person-centered care, promoting independence, and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.
- Able to work flexibly within a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
