At Social Housing Options, we believe that every individual deserves a safe and secure place to call home. As a Regional Homelessness Prevention Champion, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Regional Homelessness Prevention Champion. In this role, you will work closely with local landlords, letting agents, and community organizations to provide support and guidance to families at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to landlords and letting agents on homelessness prevention strategies and procedures.
  • Work closely with community organizations to identify and support families at risk of homelessness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify the needs of families at risk of homelessness.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help families prevent homelessness.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a homelessness prevention or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
