About the Role:

We are seeking an Independent Living Assistant to join our team at Leonard Cheshire UK. As an Independent Living Assistant, you will work closely with individuals to support them in achieving their goals and living independently in their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes. You will also work collaboratively with our Person Centred approach to support individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Escorted and transport individuals to external events and appointments
  • Maintain accurate records of individual's progress and needs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly, and have a patient and understanding approach. A personal care qualification is desirable but not essential.
