Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the County Hotel, Chelmsford. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading the Food and Beverage team on shifts and assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in the running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Food and Beverage team on shifts and partake in Duty Manager shifts.
- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in the running of the department.
- Provide guests with all service and assistance connected with their food and beverage experience at the hotel.
- Deliver four star service to our guests within the restaurant, bar, conference & banqueting facilities, as well as for alfresco outdoor dining and room service.
- Offer good levels of rapport in our restaurant for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner service.
- Set up function rooms and assist in hosting a wide range of events at the hotel.
- Exhibit natural hospitality charm and a real passion for service.
- Communicate effectively with all members of staff and management while paying close attention to detail.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years customer service experience and 1 year hospitality experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a food & beverage department, in a hotel setting.
The successful candidate must be 18 years of age or older as they will be serving on the bar independently at times.
This role is ideal for an experienced Team Leader or new Supervisor within hotels.
