Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Nurse to join our North Derbyshire Early Intervention Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for coordinating care for service users, working closely with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate care for service users experiencing a first episode of psychosis
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to ensure effective care planning
  • Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with service users
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of the service and its policies
Person Specification
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Experience working in mental health, preferably in an Early Intervention Service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
