About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Older People's Mental Health Service in Peterborough. As an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive mental health services to older adults.
  • Assess and develop care plans that promote recovery, independence, and well-being.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies on mental health issues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in mental health services.
  • Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong assessment and planning skills.
