Special Education Needs Teacher Wanted

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an SEN Teacher to join our team in Norfolk.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective support systems for students with SEN and SEMH.
  3. Leverage your expertise to mentor and guide Teaching Assistants and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants.
  4. Ensure compliance with school policies, prioritizing student safety and equality.
  5. Monitor student progress, tracking academic and emotional growth.
  6. Foster positive relationships with students, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. QTS or QTLS (mandatory).
  2. Proven experience teaching SEN students and managing EHCPs.
  3. In-depth understanding of the curriculum and strategies for engaging SEN learners.
  4. Able to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  5. Holding a full UK driving licence and having access to a vehicle.

About the Job:

  1. You will lead a small class of up to 10 students, backed by a minimum of three staff members.
  2. The students require tailored support due to varying needs, including communication difficulties, dyslexia, autism, and social/emotional challenges.
  3. This role is perfect for enthusiastic SEN Teachers who excel in supportive environments and strive to make a lasting impact.

Remuneration: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
