Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Rawtenstall from January 2025. As a key member of our modern foreign languages department, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture among our students.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4, following the national curriculum and preparing students for their GCSE exams.
  • Encourage a positive learning environment that fosters a passion for languages and motivates students to achieve their full potential.
  • Support extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or trips, that promote language learning outside of the classroom.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Spanish or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level, ideally with a proven track record of success at KS4 (GCSE).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the Spanish language and culture.
