Project Development Role at Starlight Energy

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our technical team at Starlight Energy, a leading Green Energy investment fund. As a Project Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project definition and design pool, working on large-scale Solar, Green Hydrogen, and Battery Storage Scheme projects across the UK.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on the feasibility of projects and identifying suitable land for development
  • Generating site layouts in AutoCAD, GIS, and SketchUp
  • Reviewing and submitting grid connection applications
  • Providing advice to the land sourcing, planning, and solicitor teams to deliver viable projects
  • Representing Starlight Energy in discussions with statutory bodies, such as the DNOs and National Grid

You will be expected to participate in all aspects of the work, including project management and delivery, and assisting with the generation of new business. To succeed in this role, you will need:

Requirements
  • Degree qualified, ideally in engineering or renewable energy
  • Experience in using AutoCAD, GIS, and SketchUp
  • A full, clean UK driving license
  • The right to work in the UK
