Job Title: Project Manager - Renewable Energy

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Statkraft, a leading renewable energy company. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, solar, and grid services projects in Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery, including organizing, leading, and ensuring effective management and administration of the project.
  • Coordinate project teams, including external consultants, contractors, and service providers.
  • Report on project status to the Project Steering Committee and senior management.
  • Implement anti-corruption prevention measures, including risk assessment, training, and transparent reporting of incidents.
  • Ensure internal communication, cooperation, and coordination between project team members and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project meetings, recording minutes and agreed actions.
  • Support tendering processes for new projects.
  • Manage technical design team inputs to finalize project designs.
  • Utilize Statkraft's internal tools for payments, project tracking, safety, contract management, and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Third-level engineering college degree.
  • Experience in managing renewable energy development projects with a proven track record of delivering renewable/large-scale infrastructure projects through construction.
  • Previous experience with BESS or sync comps projects is preferable but not necessary.
  • Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technology and experience with contracts and technical appendices for main technology supply contracts.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and management skills, including organizational ability and a target-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD, and other applications.
  • Ability to concisely frame issues and provide context, analysis, recommendations, and risk/benefit assessments.
