Van/Light Tipper Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Van/Light Tipper Mechanic to join our Workshop and Fleet Team on an initial 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be based at either Bromsgrove or Redditch Depot, working in a small, friendly team environment where you will be valued as an individual.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake the service, repair, maintenance, and inspections of light fleet vehicles and light plant machinery owned by the council.
- Work in a fleet workshop environment, utilizing your technical skills to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Hold a City & Guilds Level 3 minimum or equivalent qualification, and be DVSA nominated tested class 4 (with class 5 and 7 being highly desirable but not essential).
- Any welding or fabricating skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
