Van Technician

At CRA GROUP LIMITED, we are seeking a skilled Van Tipper Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and servicing our fleet of vehicles, including refuse collection vehicles, sweepers, tippers, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and repair vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
- Conduct MOT tests and retests on class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles
- Work with contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Drive vehicles up to 26 tonnes (LGV)
- Proven experience as a Van Tipper Mechanic or similar role
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Ability to work flexibly, including split shifts and overtime
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
